This is a Group for verified users to participate in a bidding war and get their hands on some special collectible items owned by someone. This is an India only Group and hence all dealings are to happen within the Indian jurisdiction.
Rules of the Road:
- The one who lists an item must provide the name, description, condition, shipping charges, shipping channel and finally adequate photos from every angle possible of the product. Expected Price SHOULD NOT be mentioned anywhere in the Post or Comments.
- Bidders should ensure that they are verified members of Collectovan, else their bid won't be considered. You can get verified via this process.
- The product being listed should be in hand at all times and all parties should be Indian citizens living in India. Bidders can be Indian and live abroad, however, should have a shipping address in India. No negotiation on this would be tolerated after a bid is accepted.
- Other users can bid on the product as what they are ready to pay in an incremental order. All bids should be mentioned as independent comments and not "comment of comment". Any bids under "comment of comment" would not hold validity.
- Once the price is acceptable by the person who listed the product, they can simply respond to the comment of the winner by stating "Deal". Close comments at this point to avoid further bids to come in.
- Every item listed can be bid up until 96 hours from the listing date and no further. Close comments, if you have not received an expected deal after 96 hours.
- Person who listed the product should PM the Winner and share payment details.
- Winning Bidder has 24 hours to clear the payment from the PM date and no further negotiations are to happen on this.
- Just in case Winning Bidder doesn't comply to the rules, they would be removed from the group permanently and stripped off their Verified Status losing most of the engagement opportunity on the platform.
- Any bidder, who has bid and then deleted comments without seeking permission of withdrawal from the lister, would be removed from the group permanently and stripped off their Verified Status losing most of the engagement opportunity on the platform. It is better to be transparent and seek permission of withdrawal from the owner of the post.
